The day kicks off in Kalavryta, a charming mountain town steeped in history. Cyclists set off on high-performance race bikes, carving their way through winding roads and lush fir forests.
Passing through Priolithos and Aroania, the route climbs steadily, offering panoramic views of the northern Peloponnesian landscape. Riders continue through Agridi and descend towards Psofida, a tranquil village nestled among forested slopes.
From there, the group pedals on to Tripotama, and up to Lambia — a picturesque village where the team takes a short break for rest and replenishment. Surrounded by stone houses and verdant hills, it’s the perfect spot to catch your breath and recharge.
Back on the saddle, the cyclists head towards Lalas, followed by Ancient Pisa, a land of myth and ruins that whispers stories of Olympic glory. Soon, they arrive at the Ancient Stadium of Olympia, where the first Olympic athletes once competed thousands of years ago.
The stage ends in Ancient Olympia, with riders checking in at the Europa Olympia Hotel, a cozy retreat surrounded by olive groves and the echoes of antiquity.
